Battle of Midway Memorial
A granite “memory stone” at the northwestern end of the Hawaiian island chain, marking the site of the pivotal Battle of Midway.
Located on remote Midway Atoll, the World War II Midway Monument is etched with a historical tribute to America's armed forces. Building on an isolated atoll required careful logistics and self-sufficient crews far from the main islands.
