Hawaiʻi General Contractor · Since 2001
Public works, underground utilities, roads, site work, and construction management for Hawaiʻi.
What we do
From underground utilities to memorial work, MIRA handles the civil and general construction behind Hawaiʻi’s public infrastructure.
Civil and vertical construction for public facilities, renovations, and new work—planned, coordinated, and quality-controlled through closeout.
Planning, scheduling, and field oversight for complex programs, including contracts with multiple scopes moving at the same time.
Early coordination with architects and engineers to resolve conflicts before they reach the field, from concept through closeout.
Sewer, water, storm drainage, and utility work planned around live roads, tight sites, and the surprises that come with underground construction.
Roadway improvements, intersections, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, grading, and flood-control work built around access, sequencing, and safety.
Careful upgrades to civic structures, parks, and memorials, preserving important features while modernizing facilities for public use.
Selected work
A cross-island record of infrastructure, utility, roadway, and memorial work for public and private owners.
Safety
Safety is part of how MIRA plans and executes the work. We identify hazards early, own the jobsite conditions, and correct unsafe practices before they become incidents.
“Prevention of all incidents is the objective — not just the ones where the potential for serious loss is most obvious.”
Environmental, safety, and health objectives are built into design, planning, training, and daily work — not added after the fact.
No tolerance for creating or allowing a hazardous condition, or for performing work in a hazardous manner.
We work each day toward zero injuries and general-liability incidents through continuous improvement.

Who we are
MIRA Image Construction has grown from a handful of small private jobs in 2001 into a general contractor delivering public infrastructure, utilities, parks, memorials, and site work across the islands.
The same principles still guide the company: confidence, integrity, quality, pride, and a serious commitment to the people who do the work.
